Rebecca Cummings, M.S., CCC-SLP

OWNER | DIRECTOR | SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Rebecca (Becca) graduated from San Francisco State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders, Linguistics, and Dance. After a few years of working in applied behavior analysis, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arizona, with a Bilingual Certificate of specialty for serving culturally and linguistically diverse populations. She also completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program, designed to prepare leaders in healthcare across the United States.

While Becca has always loved working with kids, she is passionate about supporting strong and fruitful communication across the lifespan. She is especially interested in finding ways to dive into communities, bridge gaps, and bolster underserved populations. In pediatrics, she finds it particularly rewarding to serve kids on the autism spectrum, childhood apraxia of speech, and cognitive-communication challenges.

Becca maintains her American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a license to practice in the state of Washington. When she’s out of the office, you can find her walking her fur child, Jackson, searching for the best flavors in the PNW, dancing at a studio, and tending to her garden.

 

Sarah Gunderson, M.S., CCC-SLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST | CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Sarah graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and the University of Oregon with a M.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License.

With more than 14 years of experience working in Maryland, Arizona, and Washington, she has worked with pediatric clients in a variety of settings.

Specific interests include social skills, phonological speech disorders, phonological/phonemic awareness and reading comprehension.

Sarah and her family reside in Shoreline. When not working, she can be found enjoying any of the fabulous beaches in the area, taking nature walks, baking with her kids, volunteering in a classroom, or reading with her two cats.

Montana Gregory, M.A., CCC-SLP

LEAD SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Montana graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 with a BS in Psychology and minor in Italian. After a year of shadowing different professions and nannying for a child who required speech therapy, Montana decided to earn her graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology. Montana earned her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Temple University in 2021. She has since earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License. Montana recently became an NLA (natural language acquisition) Trained Clinician by completing the Meaningful Speech course on Gestalt Language Processing.

Specific interests include working with GLPs, early intervention, and feeding related disorders.

Montana resides in downtown Seattle where she can be found checking out the local coffee spots, reading books, experimenting in the kitchen, and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city on the weekends to go hiking or snowboarding.

 

Michelle Crews

BILLING SPECIALIST

Michelle was born and raised in Texas and moved to Washington when she was 21 years old, where she started working in the medical industry. With more than 20 years of experience at medical practices, Michelle has worked with various specialties and gained an extensive amount of knowledge in customer service, medical billing, and clinical management.  

Michelle and her family live in North Seattle, where they can be found enjoying their time together cooking, watching movies, going to football games, and watching the Seahawks play.

 

Ssu-Yu Chang, M.S., CCC-SLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Ssu-Yu graduated from the University of Washington in 2019 with a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences. After a year of shadowing SLPs in various settings, she went on to earn her MS in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University. During her time at WSU, Ssu-Yu had opportunities to work with both pediatric and adult populations in multiple settings including schools, outpatient, and inpatient. She maintains her license to practice speech-language pathology in Washington State, as well as her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Ssu-Yu’s professional interests include articulation and phonological disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, and expressive and receptive language disorders.

Ssu-Yu was born and raised in Taiwan. Aside from English, she is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Hokkien. Ssu-Yu and her husband reside in Edmonds. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys in-door bouldering, hiking, and baking.

 

Nicole Raisin, M.S., OTR/L

LEAD OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Nicole graduated from Georgia College with a B.S. in Exercise Science, where she taught modified fitness classes and personal training sessions for neurodivergent adults. She continued her education in Georgia at Brenau University, where she earned a M.S. in Occupational Therapy. 

Nicole uses a play-based, family centered approach to support children and their families while engaging in meaningful daily activities (or “occupations”). She has been a practicing pediatric occupational therapist in the outpatient setting for nearly 3 years. 

Nicole’s passions lie in working with children with sensory processing difficulties, mental health and self regulation difficulties, feeding and eating challenges, and children on the autism spectrum. She has continuing education in pediatric neuroscience, experience with primitive reflex integration and Haller Body Brain Mapping, and over 400 fieldwork hours in the mental health setting. 

Nicole lives in Kenmore, where she enjoys crafting, farmer’s markets, finding bubble tea cafes, and playing with her cat, Lentil.

 

Maria Tavani, M.S., CCC-SLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST | CLINICAL SUPERVISOR | CREATIVE CLINICAL PROGRAMS MANAGER

Maria received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alabama after completing a Bachelor’s in Music and Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida State University. She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to work in the state of Washington.

Maria is passionate about the importance of literacy in language development, and she specializes in language-based reading and writing therapy for children and adolescents with dyslexia and other reading disorders. She also enjoys working with children that have a variety of communication challenges, including receptive/expressive language disorders, speech-sound disorders, stuttering, autism, and developmental delay. Maria loves working with kids and believes therapy can be fun as they learn and develop skills for functional communication.

Maria enjoys exploring and having adventures outdoors with her husband and young daughter. A passionate musician, she also loves playing oboe, ukulele, accordion, and piano. She plays oboe and English horn with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.

 

Caiti Norberg

OFFICE MANAGER

Caiti was born and raised right here in Kenmore, Washington. She began working in the medical field in high school, and has over 18 years of experience. While Caiti has an extensive background in a variety of clinic settings, she is new to the world of speech and occupational therapy. Caiti comes to our team equipped with a drive to learn, outstanding customer service skills and plenty of knowledge about clinical workings. She has the desire to be even a small part of making your families’ experience a personal and positive one.

Caiti lives in Bothell with her husband, three children and their dog. Weekends and downtime are spent together, exploring Washington, drinking coffee, watching hockey and finding our next adventure.

 

Morena Orellana, B.S.

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Morena was born and raised in El Salvador. She moved to the United States at the age of 19 years old. She graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2019. Since earning her degree, Morena’s work in healthcare settings has included a role at Chesterfield Services, Inc. as an administrative assistant. Morena brings her knowledge of accounting and patient care to her role on the Northshore Pediatric Therapy team.

In her free time, Morena likes to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoys hiking in many different places and playing soccer.

 

Darcie Bulger, M.S., OTR/L

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Darcie graduated from Oregon State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Upon graduating from OSU, Darcie began working at Oregon Health Sciences University, where she assisted the occupational and physical therapy departments and built adaptive equipment for children with disabilities. Darcie went on to earn her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the Arizona School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has a wealth of experience working as a pediatric occupational therapist in settings including schools, home, and private practice.

Darcie uses a play-based multi-sensory approach and loves to build confidence in each child. She strives to find the “just right” challenge and is committed to collaboratively helping the children and families she serves. She enjoys working with kids on the autism spectrum, those that struggle with fine/visual motor skills, and children who have sensory processing/sensory regulation difficulties.

Darcie lives in Bothell. She loves walking her dog, Lucy, finding great restaurants, watching movies, attending outdoor concerts, and being outdoors with her family.

 

Stefanie Marvin, M.S., CCC-SLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Stefanie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License. She has an additional advanced certificate in DIR Floortime from the International Council on Development and Learning.

Whether working on feeding or communication skills, Stefanie prioritizes following your child’s lead using a strength-based treatment philosophy and capitalizing on their personal interests and passions to help them learn and grow.

Specific interests include infant feeding, childhood feeding, early intervention, and autism using a developmental approach individualized to each patient. Stefanie has experience working with breast feeding difficulties, bottle feeding difficulties, transitioning to solids, sensory based pediatric feeding disorders, anxiety based pediatric feeding disorders, tongue thrust, tethered oral tissues, speech sound disorders, apraxia, language disorders, stuttering, AAC, and social communication.

Stefanie lives in Ballard and enjoys exploring the greater Seattle area with her fiancé and her German shepherd, Kiwi, whether than entails trying out new restaurants, hiking trails, or campsites.

 

Mollie Madison Voigt, OTD, OTR/L

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Mollie graduated from Macalester College with a degree in psychology and education. Throughout undergrad and post-grad, Mollie worked with various supported living organizations where she assisted adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities with daily routines and community engagement. Her work with this population prompted her to seek a career in occupational therapy. Mollie went on to receive her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Baylor University in 2022. She has been working in the pediatric outpatient setting since graduation. 

Mollie uses a strengths-based approach to therapy which is grounded in multi-sensory play, collaborative problem solving, trauma-informed care, neurodiversity education, and parent coaching. She is passionate about using occupational therapy to empower children and families to live authentically and create equitable access to meaningful daily activities. 

Mollie has considerable continuing education in the neurodiversity affirming model that covers a broad range of needs including feeding, toileting, sensory processing, interoception, social/emotional development, and pathological demand avoidance (PDA). 

Mollie lives near downtown Seattle, where you may find her paddle boarding on Lake Union. She also enjoys taking care of her plants, crafting, and cuddling with her cat, Leo, in her free time.
